• Frequently Asked Questions

What are the requirements for teaming and is it possible to form teams across schools?

5-10 people from the same organization form a team to carry out the project (cross-grade allowed)

How do team members divide their labor?

The Sustainability Innovation program emphasizes the integration of disciplines and practices, and we recommend that team members work together to complete the project according to their own strengths and interests.

Can the organizing committee help me form a team?

Players need to complete the school team building in the school. SI can accept students to sign up as a unified organization, such as a volunteer organization.

    Are all projects conducted online?

Yes. SI has an exclusive Sustainable Innovation Center. Students will have an account after registration, and they can log in to the center and study independently. After the start of the project, each team can request twice one-on-one mentor critiques for their project. If teams still have questions, they can ask questions directly in the system.

Will the program affect my summer school / standardization / exams?

The whole process of sustainable innovation is carried out online, the team completes the innovation project report in the system, and the professional instructor will also help the contestants revise the report online, and finally obtain the corresponding certification certificate after review. It will not affect the players' classes and exams.

Is the full cost included in the registration fee, and are there any additional fees at a later stage?

The registration fee includes project materials, online courses, guidance on sustainable topics, professional guidance, two project report review services, judges' evaluation fees, and certificates. No additional fees will be charged.

Can I participate in mutiple projects at the same time?

Within the same academic year, a student can only join one team and submit one project. The Sustainability Innovation Organizing Committee does not accept multiple submissions from one student in the same academic year.
